HYOUNMO KU
Director/manager KU Hyoun-mo, who founded Green Ship Technology KOREA in 2020, is a representative designer with 30 years of experience in design, naval architecture and the  development of ships. Among many other projects Mr KU worked for 10 years on the design and naval architecture calculations for the Australian company Seawind catamarans and has conducted technical research on special purpose vessels and leisure vessels for several years at KOMSA, a public institution that manages maritime safety in Korea.

With the increasing demands on the environment, KU is working to develop Green Ship Technology as a leading company specializing in hdpe ship construction and design. With the development of multiple hdpe ship, including military unmanned ships and conducting two welding training sessions at DVS. We are currently in charge of the design and engineering for six ships used to prepare construction standards for hdpe materials for Korean fishing boats during 2024-2025.

Starting with Malaysia, KU is building an hdpe vessel development network with Asia-Pacific countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Taiwan and is promoting projects such as collecting marine plastic and utilizing collected materials.

Our aim is to create an independent Asia-Pacific small and medium-sized ship ecosystem by studying the application of ships, materials, and structures according to the maritime and industrial characteristics of Asia-Pacific countries, standardizing production facilities through cooperation with builders in various countries, and securing price competitiveness through joint purchasing of materials.
